Refuge Caseworker

Solace Women’s Aid works with women, children and men affected by domestic and sexual violence.  We work in a holistic and empowering way enabling service users to live independent lives.

We have recently restructured our refuge services in Lambeth – this Caseworker post is a new role. The Caseworker will work across two refuge sites in the borough offering advice and support to women residents affected by domestic and sexual violence.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence and strong casework management skills.

Administration Coordinator

Solace Women’s Aid is dedicated to providing a full range of services for women and their children, enabling them to live lives free from domestic and sexual violence.  Our Therapeutic Unit coordinates referrals for the Ascent counselling project supporting women who have experienced or are living with domestic violence.

 We are looking for an administration coordinator to support the therapeutic team, cover the duty line, process referrals, support with the administration of the counselling services and supervise an administration assistant and volunteers.

You will have excellent IT skills and be able to communicate effectively both on a verbal and written level.  Ability to multi-task quickly and effectively is essential.

Salary: £21, 749 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2015, with the possibility of a 2 year extension until March 2017

Location: Islington
