Read our end of January newsletter here!

We're back again with a quick update for the end of January. There's lots coming up in the next few months, from International Women's Day to Valentine's Day and training opportunities.

As always, a huge thank you for your ongoing support for us and for women and girls across London.

International Women's Day 2023

Our flagship event for International Women’s Day will be on Thursday 9th March at Rich Mix in Shoreditch.

This is going to be a sell-out event so make sure to hold the date and we will send out details of how to book in the next few weeks.

We’re very excited about our panel and we have a theme that we know will get everyone talking!

Show your love for all women and girls this Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. We know not everyone celebrates or approves, and at Solace we usually see it as an opportunity to raise awareness around love bombing or toxic relationships. This year, we’re celebrating our love for women and girls and encouraging you to show your support by gifting a love token to your loved ones.

This is a one-off, bespoke, Solace only love token that will show the people in your life how much you care about safe futures free from violence against women and girls. You can choose from a range of designs and the token will be sent to you to print or email to your loved one.

All donations will go towards supporting our vital services.

Whether it's for your partner, your child or your best friend, celebrate Valentine's (or Galentine's!) with a Solace love token.

Labyrinth Project Engages over 30,000 Women

Labyrinth has been an ambitious initiative with multiple strands and multiple partners fulfilling different roles in different locations. In just over a year the project has enabled 15 partner organisations to work together across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, engaging over 30,000 women.

Nearly a thousand service users have attended Labyrinth’s training courses and the project has delivered nearly 500 groupwork sessions and supported over 800 women with an issue of economic abuse and 350 with an employment issue.

Take-up of, and feedback from, the grants programme, training offer, networking and local capacity building indicates a real appetite for growing and better connecting the UK women’s sector. Read the full evaluation below.

Our courses are developed and delivered by experienced trainers who work on the frontline, supporting survivors from crisis to recovery, helping you build your skills in supporting survivors. Click the button below for more information and to sign up.
