I am the Senior Manager of Partnerships at Solace. I joined Solace in 2011, initially managing refuges and then working as a Senior Manager for five years to oversee the Ascent Advice and Counselling partnership that delivers advice and counselling across every London borough. I am lead officer for Solace on housing issues and co-chair of the London VAWG and Housing Group, which seeks to develop innovative solutions to homelessness for women fleeing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and to help to ensure fair access to housing.
I have over 30 years’ experience within the third sector, predominantly within NGOs and within the field of Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG). In 2010 I earned a merit in a Master of Science degree in International Development from Birkbeck University and in 2017 received an ILM Level 7 Certificate in Leadership and Management. I am proud to work for such a wonderful organisation as Solace and to be working alongside so many other passionate and committed women in the quest to end violence against women and girls.
