Together We Are Powerful: Laura Bates in Conversation with Tessa Sanderson CBE
Join us to celebrate International Women's Day and support Solace's life-saving work.
Feminist journalist, Laura Bates, will be leading a conversation with gold-medal winning Olympian Tessa Sanderson CBE on the theme of strength through adversity.
Since the pandemic began, we’ve seen a 100% increase in demand for our services. Many women fleeing abuse are facing the risk of poverty, homelessness and now Coronavirus. We need to be able to pick up the phone to every woman who calls our helpline, it could be their only opportunity to seek help. That’s why we need our community to come together in support for survivors because together we are powerful…together we can end violence against women and girls.
