Our double your donation week is back!
The crisis is not over. Since the pandemic, we’ve seen an unprecedented rise in demand for our services. Our Advice line calls have increased by 117%. Many of these calls are from women and their children in crisis, with nowhere to go. During the first lockdown, 160,000 children were thought to be living in homes where there was domestic abuse, and the incidence of abuse rose by an estimated 25%. These children, trapped in abusive homes, are without vital support systems such as schools and community services, like Solace.
We have partnered with The Childhood Trust and Solace Patron and Children’s Ambassador, Simrin Bakshi Choudhrie, to make sure that every donation you make through The Big Give between 8th – 15th June will be doubled.
