Thank you to our amazing donors!
A huge thank you to our amazing supporters for helping us hit the £30k target for the Every Child Deserves to Thrive summer campaign to raise money for children and young people affected by domestic abuse. With match funding provided by The Childhood Trust, via The Big Give, we will be able to be able to give children in our services the opportunity to heal, play, and rebuild their lives in a safe and nurturing environment. If you didn’t get chance to donate during our campaign, there is still time:
Join us for our Women’s Rough Sleeping Census launch event on 3 July

Solace, in partnership with the Single Homeless Project, Crisis and CGL, will launch our annual Women’s Rough Sleeping Census report, How Do We Sleep at Night?, at an online event on 3 July.
Experts from the charities, as well as Paula Barker MP, will speak about the need for a better way to count women sleeping rough. The report has found that a huge barrier to counting women accurately is the danger they face when sleeping rough, as risks of violence, sexual assault and robbery are higher for women than men.
This is why women are far less likely to sleep on the streets for the night, opting instead to ride public transport, sleep during the day or sit in A&E departments to stay safe. The report poses the question: if the Government and services don’t know these women exist, how can they possibly provide them with the support that they need?
