We are incredibly pleased to share the exciting announcement that Solace Summer Lifeline film has been shortlisted for Depict! at Encounters Film Festival.
The film was created to highlight the experience of a child being forced to flee on the school run with her mum. What’s heartbreaking is that this is something our teams on their lifesaving phonelines have seen to be an increasing trend during the pandemic.
A huge thanks to Alfie Dale, Beatriz Delgado Mena and the whole production team at Roll Nine Production for approaching this topic and the shoot with such passion and thoughtfulness to raise awareness and support the work of Solace.
And hats off to our incredible young actress cast by Sue Odell and Norrie Carr and of course all our staff who work tirelessly to get women and children to a point of safety every day.
