This July, we’ve teamed up with money saving website Discount Promo Codes to feature in their monthly charity poll. Solace is one of three charities competing in a bid to win 20% of the site’s profits. The donation will help us towards our mission of ending violence against women and children, in order for them to build safe lives and strong futures, and we would love it if you could take a few minutes to vote for us.
Discount Promo Codes is an independent voucher code website based in Bath, and since their launch in 2012, they have raised over £60,000 for different charities. Over the years, they’ve supported a range of different causes, from mental health to animal welfare, raising money for local non-profit organisations to larger national charities. Their site is home to thousands of voucher codes, discounts and money-off deals from the biggest retailers in the UK, including Amazon, Boots, Tesco and WH Smith. Every time a customer makes a purchase through the site, these retailers pay a small commission, and this is ultimately how Discount Promo Codes are able to donate 20% of their profits to a different charity every month.
When it comes to choosing the charity that benefits from the donation, this is decided by the users. Every month, the site nominates three organisations who compete for votes through a little friendly competition via social media and on-site promotion. Visitors to the site can cast their vote for free while also taking advantage of the great savings on offer, and at the end of the month, the charity with the most votes wins the donation.

From the 1st of July, you’ll be able to cast your vote for Solace in the Discount Promo Codes poll. All you have to do is head over to the site, where you’ll find the poll on the right-hand side (you may need to scroll a little depending on the device you’re using). Select your winner from the list and click the green “Vote” button to confirm, and you’re all done!
