The No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) Wrap Around project provides support with subsistence, accommodation and immigration advice to women who have experienced recent Domestic Violence/ Sexual Violence (DV/SV) and are destitute. The project is funded by Southall Black Sisters. The funding can support single women for up to 16 weeks, and women with children for up to 6 weeks (until the Local Authority fulfils their duty).
The funding requires a caseworker is actively working with the woman to improve her circumstances for the duration of the funding (i.e immigration status, benefits, housing, employment).
ELIGIBILITY:
- From a Solace borough
- The woman has experienced recent domestic and/or sexual violence, prostitution and/or trafficking and any other form of gender-based violence, including harmful practices
- The woman has NRPF
- The woman does not have access to other funds including savings
