About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic counsellor to provide dedicated therapeutic support to women who have experienced VAWG face to face, online and on the telephone. 
We work in a person centred way offering short and long term counselling in order to empower women to heal and recover from the trauma of sexual violence. The service is delivered across several boroughs.

This service is run by women for women and is therefore restricted to women applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, and Part 1. Section 7(2) e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 apply. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) disclosure will be required for this role.
