This International Women's Day Solace are hosting an exclusive event on March 7th at the Curzon Bloomsbury.
We will be hosting a screening of our survivor led production "Finding Solace" by See Change Films, followed by a panel discussion with 4 amazing key speakers:
- Luke & Ryan Hart are the two surviving sons, now openly share their story to raise awareness of coercive and controlling behaviour. So far, they have trained police officers, police community support officers, NHS personnel and legal professionals in the Crown Prosecution Service. They have released their book Operation Lighthouse, telling their story and challenging myths and stereotypes surrounding domestic abuse and coercive control.
- Eliza Hatch will be talking about, and exhibiting photographs from, her project "Cheer Up Luv" - visually striking portraits that speak out against sexual harassment faced by women in our society. Check them out here.
- Fern Champion one of our amazing ambassadors - read her story here
- The amazing women who made the survivor led productions: "Finding Solace" is a truthful narrative of what is is like surviving abuse and sexual violence, told by Solace survivors.
Join us to end violence against women and girls.
