Our busy Bexley team is seeking a reliable and organised domestic abuse support volunteer to assist the advocacy team. You will act as the first point of contact for the service, answering our busy duty line and providing information to professionals and service users. The ideal volunteer will have a good telephone manner, excellent communication and computer skills, and be able to show empathy to service users. Volunteers will be given a good grounding in issues that service users face and will learn a lot about how best to support survivors of Domestic Abuse and/or Sexual Violence.
