An exciting new role supporting the Housing First Westminster Project, which is a brand new service supporting street homeless women to access their own accommodation. The volunteer will be working closely with the Project Workers in supporting the clients in maintaining their tenancies, accessing services such as benefits, health agencies and community support. For this role ideally the volunteer should have an interest or experience in the sector and understands/has knowledge of the basic procedures around risk assessment, MARAC and safeguarding. The volunteer should also an understanding of how trauma and multiple disadvantage intersect and its impact on women.
