Solace Women’s Aid provides a wide range of services to victim/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in Islington including a large advocacy and support service and specialist projects co-located in a number of services.

About the Service

Islington Solace Advocacy and Support Service (SASS) is a team made up of IDVAs, caseworkers and IRIS workers. We work with all levels of risk and work closely with our partner agencies to ensure victims/survivors of domestic violence receive a good standard of service. 

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to assist the Senior MASH IDVA (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub), to support with presenting, drop-in sessions and supporting survivors with multiple disadvantages. 

This is as an opportunity to gain knowledge of perpetrator work and interventions, by shadowing meetings and working closely with a passionate team. You will gain knowledge of working with multiple agencies, to provide the best support possible to survivors.
