Exciting opportunity to deliver groups to women who have experienced domestic/sexual abuse. The content of the groups is flexible. This can include singing workshops, yoga, meditation, massage therapy, beauty treatments, knitting, sewing, art and relaxation.


The ideal candidate must have the ability to speak clearly and empathetically to service users. Knowledge of domestic/sexual abuse and possible impacts of this on women and their children is required along with safeguarding procedures. Where appropriate the volunteer must have the qualifications for the group sessions they would like to carry out.

Please complete the Volunteer Equality Monitoring Form.

Please note that our volunteer opportunities are open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1), and that these volunteer roles are exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974 and subject to enhanced DBS checks where applicable.
