Given the recent announcement by the government regarding a new national lock down until mid-February, regretfully, we feel it is no longer prudent for us to continue with our Racing Against Violence – Solace 40 Thames Path Challenge at the end of this month. We do plan to reschedule this event in the Spring, so we hope that you can join us then.
In the meantime, Solace plans to continue with their virtual Solace 40 activities, if you would like to take part in these fundraising activities by doing your 40 mile walk virtually. You can go to this site to find out how to get involved.
As our Prime Minister noted during his address to the nation, one of the reasons people can leave their homes during this lockdown is to flee domestic violence. Solace’s services will continue to be in demand during this lockdown and they are desperately needing our nation’s support. Please do encourage your network to donate to Solace through our event fundraising site, even if we are postponing this event until the Spring.
You and your friends can also purchase cool merchandise, such as T-shirts, beanies, and hoodies, from our eCubed site to support Solace during this lockdown as well. Please check out our products for sale.
