Advice Line Volunteer
As an Advice Line Volunteer, you will support women and professionals seeking advice related to domestic and sexual abuse. The role involves responding to calls and emails, providing short-term support, safety planning, risk assessment support and signposting to services such as housing, benefits, social care and safeguarding agencies. You will also complete accurate case recording and provide administrative support to the Advice Team, including during crisis situations.
This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, a non-judgemental and empathetic approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comprehensive training, regular supervision and ongoing support are provided.
Confirmed Outcomes: 12-13th January
Training to take place in February. More details to be confirmed by interview outcomes.

Details
Location: Hybrid working depending on volunteering days - based both working from home and from Camden office.
Hours: 1 day a week minimum (10am-4pm Mon-Fri) (6pm-8pm Tues)
Contract type: Minimum 1 year commitment
