How you can get involved
Hosting your own event is a fantastic way to turn your passions and skills into something that creates real change. From bake sales and quizzes to sponsored runs and drag shows — every event makes a difference.
- In your community: Organise a raffle, a walk, or a street party and raise awareness where you live.
- At school: Host a non-uniform day, sports challenge, performance, or panel event about gender equality.
- At university: Fundraise at society events, host a craft night, pub quiz, bingo night or sport match
- At work: Run team challenges, charity auctions, or make Solace your Charity of the Year.

Support from our team
Our friendly fundraising team are here to help. We can provide kits and leaflets, social media promotion, event speakers, and tailored resources for schools, universities, and workplaces.
Contact us at fundraising@solacewomensaid.org to share your ideas and let us know you are fundraising for Solace. You can also collect donations easily through JustGiving. Select “Solace Women’s Aid” as your chosen charity and the funds will come directly to us.
