Have you thought about using your skills to do something incredible for Solace? 

Every fundraising event held for Solace makes a huge difference to the services we can provide for women and families. As well as raising money you’ll be raising awareness and helping us to support survivors. By raising £20 or £2000 you will be making a life-saving difference to the lives of people fleeing abuse, everything from an interpreter for the most marginalised women in London to a safe place to sleep for women that have nowhere safe to flee.

 26hour Dance-A-Thon 


During the pandemic, lockdowns meant that many women and children were trapped in abusive homes with no escape. Solace urgently needed vital funding so we could reach those most vulnerable, to make sure they could pay for taxis to get them to safety and could put things in place to keep providing their life-changing therapeutic support. 


Despite being in lockdown, it didn’t stop Lucy, Grace and Nat from going above and beyond to support Solace with a 26-hour disco dance marathon! Livestreamed via Zoom, they boogied in their basement for 26 hours and raised over £7,000! 


The money raised meant we were able to respond to the immediate, emergency needs of survivors, including providing food parcels and other essentials for families fleeing abuse with nothing. You can make a difference like our dancing queens! Maybe dancing isn’t your thing, but there are endless ways you can support Solace.
