Kalina’s Career Progression

I started at Solace in February 2018 as a refuge worker. Over the last 6 years, I have been promoted to the service manager for Camden Refuges role twice. Solace has supported my development by allowing me to complete the DAPA qualification and complete the Level 3 Leadership Apprenticeship. The qualities that helped me progress include being able to adapt to the fast pace and changing environment working in a refuge, being able to do a multitude of tasks, being compassionate, supporting the team, good listening and communication skills, and remaining calm during crises, and managing difficult situations.
