Please read our service user announcement regarding our services and COVID-19.
Dear Service User,
In these unprecedented times, we know that Coronavirus is a concern for everyone as it affects all of us, from our lives at home, at work and our friends and families. We want to let you know what Solace are doing to help combat the spread of the virus to support the health and wellbeing of service users and our staff in the services and communities that we work in.
We are closely monitoring and following Government and Public Health Advice to ensure we are doing our part to keep you, our staff and our communities safe.
We have also:
• Increased the frequency of cleaning in our services especially the most touched areas like door handles, toilet flushes, taps;
• Briefed our staff on the importance of proper handwashing, appropriate contact and ensuring employees who are ill stay at home and seek advice.
We are prepared for service changes should they be required by Government and Public Health advice. This may include:
Changing how we deliver a service to you – for example changing from face to face to phone contact;
Suspending activities – this may be done based on risk or needing to re-deploy staff to the highest priority areas of our work.
Solace recognise the significant impact that withdrawal of any service can have upon those that we are here to support. For this reason, we continue to plan for different eventualities to ensure that there is contingency and flexibility to cover our most essential services.
We will continue to proactively monitor, evaluate and respond to the impact of this changing situation, and we will update you on any changes we are making with your health, safety and needs in mind.
We would like to thank you for your co-operation with any changes that we ask you to make (this may include self-isolation if unwell with high temperature and cough, use of hand sanitiser and handwashing facilities when you come to Solace premises and informing us of recent travel from certain countries).
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
