Our Support for Women and Girls in 2022/2023
This year we supported 21,254 women and girls and this week we launched our Impact Report for 2022/23. It’s been another year of challenges, changes and some excellent achievements at Solace as we continue to navigate how to best support our service users.

Double your support for women and girls
It takes courage to start a new life. This is where Solace can help.
The cost of living crisis means more and more women are arriving to us in poverty. More than half of survivors we support have had essential resources restricted by their abuser (Solace, 2023). Your support means we can help more women and girls to build safe lives.
Today, on #InternationalDayOfTheGirl, we are launching our match-funded appeal. We need to raise £10,000 to be able to respond to the needs of women and girls arriving at our doors.
Thanks to The Big Give and the Women & Girls Match Fund, every donation made between now and Wednesday 18th October will be doubled! This means your support can go even further.
Black History Month
The theme of this year’s Black History Month is Salute Our Sisters. To celebrate, we’ve chosen to explore some locations in London that are linked to significant moments about and for Black women. Some of them will be familiar, some may not – as we know, Black women have often been overlooked and hidden in British history. Watch our intro video below and follow along on our Instagram to find out more.
Social Media
We’re doing more and more on social media, so make sure you follow us to keep up with everything happening throughout the year!
