Solace works alongside Redthread, a London-based youth violence charity, to provide Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) based in London’s four major trauma centres based in London: Royal London, St George’s, St Mary’s, King’s College Hospital.
We support all young people (men/women/transgender/nonbinary) between the ages of 11-25 that are victims/survivors or at risk of domestic abuse, sexual violence, child sexual exploitation (CSE), forced prostitution, female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriage, honour based violence (HBV), and trafficking and modern slavery that present in the Emergency Department
We provide high quality case work support, advocacy, and information services to young people.
