Young Change Makers

The Young Change Maker Programme serves as a natural next step for young people who have completed Formal and Informal Education programmes, bringing together young people (YP) from refuges and schools to ensure Service User (SU) voices are heard. The programme is offered to all young people living in Islington and Haringey boroughs.

It offers young people the opportunity to build on their knowledge and experiences through further training, and to create a multimedia campaign on the impact of VAWG, including research, performance, arts, and video.

Through the Young Change Maker programme, young people will have the opportunity to become leading voices against VAWG, active in their communities and among their peers, raising awareness, and gaining valuable knowledge. Young people participating can gain AQA Level 2 Award in Leadership and Campaigning skills.
