Paula Murphy

Paula brings over twenty years’ experience in the Violence Against Women and Girls sector, with a strong focus on strengthening organisations that support survivors of domestic abuse. Formerly Director of Performance and Development at a large London charity, she has led the design and development of domestic abuse services, modern slavery responses, criminal justice initiatives, and mental wellbeing therapeutic and crisis support.

As an expert advisor to Solace, Paula brings strategic insight into service development, partnership working, and sustainable growth. Drawing on her leadership as Director of a Healthwatch organisation and her work on statutory and independent inquiries, she is a committed advocate for survivor‑centred approaches and for embedding lived experience at the heart of service design, commissioning, and organisational decision‑making.
