North London Rape Crisis Helpline Volunteer
This is an exciting opportunity to join Solace’s North London Rape Crisis Team as a Helpline Volunteer. You will provide emotional support and information to survivors of sexual violence, helping them feel heard, empowered, and informed about available services. The role can be carried out remotely or from our Camden office, with a commitment of half a day per week for 6–12 months.
Volunteers receive 8 weeks of specialist training on the impact of sexual violence, along with ongoing supervision and support. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, reliable, and non-judgemental, with good communication skills and an interest in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector. You’ll gain valuable experience, enhance your confidence and interpersonal skills, and play a key role in empowering survivors.
