Volunteer Family Support Worker

The Volunteer Family Support Worker will assist refuge staff in supporting women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. The role involves helping with daily refuge activities, including administrative tasks, supporting women to attend child-related appointments, and assisting with planning and running activities for children and families. Volunteers may also help research local services, support external trips, and keep basic records.

This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a feminist organisation within the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector, using a trauma-informed approach. Volunteers will be part of a supportive team and gain valuable experience working with children and families in refuge
